Join Long Island ceramic artist Jessamyn Go of Femme Sole for a creative evening of candle stick making at Village General!
Candlestick Pair Making
April 9th 6–8 PM
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn essential pinch pot and coil hand-building techniques to sculpt their own pair of ceramic candle stick holders. Design a pair to adorn your table-scape, create a thoughtful handmade gift, or craft a meaningful object for your altar.
Jessamyn will guide you through shaping and refining your forms while encouraging personal expression. Customize your candle sticks using underglaze decoration, surface carving, or symbolic markings—from simple patterns to personal sigils for intention and luck.
Village Sayville is known for its beautifully curated selection of gifts, candles, and keepsakes, making it the perfect setting for an evening centered around candlelight and handmade objects.
After the workshop, pieces will be taken back to Jessamyn’s studio to be kiln-fired and finished. Participants will be notified 3 wks after when their candle sticks are ready for pickup.
