Watercolor Workshop with Artist Christie Jones

Join us for a unique and immersive art experience, Handmade Watercolor Workshop, where artist Christie Jones will guide you through the fascinating world of non-toxic handmade watercolors. This 2-hour workshop promises a blend of creativity, learning, and socializing, all against the backdrop of unique earth & mineral pigments in seashells.

THURSDAY JANUARY 23RD FROM 6-8PM

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the art of painting with handmade watercolors. Choose from a variety of design sheets or let your imagination run wild and create your own masterpiece. Enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere as you engage with fellow art enthusiasts. Share tips, tricks, and stories while crafting your own artwork. 

Fun Facts:

• Each watercolor paint color takes 1 hour to mix by hand.
• All shells are recycled from Salt & Barrel Restaurant and sanitized.
• 3 NEW oysters planted per kit that sells, meaning your purchase will help support a local artist & clean our local waters!

What to Expect:

• No prior art experience required
• All art supplies, including non-toxic handmade watercolors, will be provided

Choose from 2 workshop options. The first includes everything listed above, the second includes everything above AND a painting kit to take home. The kit includes 3 watercolor paints in oyster shells, 2 paint brushes, 5 blank sheets of paper & 1 coloring sheet. These kits retail in our shop for $40.
